                Stambouli Bulgaria Ltd.- Activities- Export

     Export plays a major role in our company's activities. Our extensive contracts and vast experience in importing and exporting goods to and from the Middle East, Europe and the USA, has led the company to develop a large trading organization with a database of a wide variety of products at very competitive prices.
    We have been exporting textile garments for the past 12 years, from Cyprus and Lebanon to the USA. When Bulgaria was granted "Most Favored Nation" status by the USA 1994 our textile department moved to Bulgaria, where we subcontracted locally. Production begun for major American companies such as Sears, J.C. Penny and The Gap. In 1995 we seized the opportunity to purchase a large textile factory in the area of Banite, near Smolyan and by June 1996 the purchase of the whole property of the factory's 4 units was concluded. Within months the factory was working 3 shifts a day, around the clock, 7 days a week, in order to meet the increasing demand of our American clients.
