        Stambouli Bulgaria Ltd.- Activities- Wholesale

     We currently operate the widest distribution network in the Bulgarian market which has enabled us to succesfully import and distribute such a wide range of branded items. With a fleet of more than 150 vehicles and over 200 Stambouli sales representatives we are present in over 25 towns and cities with distribution and wholesale centers and various other satellite regions with active distributors.
    
     We sell our products to the market using the following channels:

• Active distribution (selling shop to shop)

• Sales to OTC (over the counter dealers and other passive wholesalers)

• Sales to active wholesalers (wholesalers who have their own distribution capabilities).

      With over 160 active Stambouli sales representatives our active distribution is set up in 26 regions of Bulgaria. Our sales representatives are specialized by groups of products and are extensively trained in the goods that they sell. Each region we are present in has 1 to 4 Regional Sales Supervisors often specialized by group of products (e.g. Perfumery and cosmetics, Household goods, Foddstuffs etc.) who are responsible for following the day to day work of our sales representatives and increasing the presence of our products on the market.
  
     Sales to OTCs are covered by both the active sales representatives and a specialized wholesale sales force responsible for servicing our passive and active wholesalers.

     Our vast range of branded goods make us very popular with large outlets and chains of stores where they can receive a wide variety of goods from a single supplier. Our specialized key account team are responsible for servicing those important retail clients.

     Our regional distribution centers spread throughout Bulgaria enable us to deliver to practically everywhere in Bulgaria. Our distribution centers are serviced by our 3 main warehouses conveniently located in Pernik, Plovdiv and Albena. This optimizes our delivery time and provides our customers with a fast and reliable service.

     Overall we have:

• 22 Wholesale Centers

• 20 Active Sales Distribution Centers

• 3 Showrooms

     Our wholesale and distribution customers, over 12,000, include a broad array of privately-owned companies and state organizations.

• At the beginning of 1997 we launched our new Stambouli Newsletter.

• Aimed at our existing wholesale and retail clients (over 12,000) it provides information on new product launches and special promotional offers.

• Every month we highlight a brand and offer more in-depth information on the company, its policy and products.

• The newsletter is designed to create a closer bond with our clients and encourage feedback from them as well.

• The newsletter has proved to be a great success in light of the enthusiastic response it has received.
